I’m a senior lecturer in acoustics, audio, and music technology at the University of Edinburgh. I’m based in the Reid School of Music (part of ECA), and a member of the Acoustics and Audio Group.

Collected on this site are various resources and other bits and pieces related to my interests, research, and teaching.

This includes several software utilities for carrying out acoustics-related measurements in Matlab.

A few further details are provided on the about page.

If you’re looking for a technically-minded undergraduate degree that includes physics, music, programming, audio technology, and sound design, have a look at the BSc Acoustics and Music Technology programme. You can apply for the degree via the University of Edinburgh’s Degree Finder page.

If you’re after an MSc in a similar kind of area, we have one of those, too – the MSc Acoustics and Music Technology.
